Those cases I can think of where other polearms would do better are: The advantage is even more pronounce with monsters with >50% physical resistance, so, yes, Reaper's Toll would be a better choice, damage wise, over most other polearms. When you consider that the other polearms identified would only be doing half their listed damage, you can see this is a significant improvement. This means that if a monster has 50% physical resistance as most do in hell Decrep will bring this to 0% physical resistance now your merc will actually do his listed damage. These are -% to enemy physical resistance, just like -% to enemy elemental resistance. Amp and Decrep are commonly misunderstood.
